Great sushi, very fresh. We ordered 2 rolls and miso soup with salmon, which was plenty for the two of us. This is not the place to go for French Canadian ambience but the vibe is good and comfortable. It is the place to go for great sushi. Very nice view from front window at sunset. The owner was there and personally made the rolls and was very friendly.

We’re here because we’re starving and wanted something to quick; and we thought sushi would be great for a late lunch. The food was good. The rolls were big (we thought it would be small because it only had 4 slices) and it was quite filling. But service was terrible or maybe that’s just the culture there. No one greeted us when we got in, no one directed us where to sit. And they’re at the counter, waiting for us to place an order. We asked for tap water and they didn’t arrive until we’re almost done eating (and there’s no other customers). There are steps to get inside the restaurant; hence, I’m not sure if this works for wheelchairs.

We ordered the salmon poke bowl, chicken udon, and sushi. It was great quality and delicious. Salmon was fresh, broth was good, and everything came out in a timely manner. Servers were both very kind.

This was excellent! However, I would recommend avoiding the udon noodle soups and to go for a poke bowl, flambée fish and soyamaki rolls. Better value for money. Especially the poke bowl which isn't just a massive bowl of rice with some toppings, but ample fish with tempura, salad, spaghettied vegetables and then some excellent rice. I had a great dinner here. It's an 'order at the bar, pay and wait' style sushi, but worth it. Nice lady too, she gave us extra plates to share. The food was fresh and yummy.

My family and I were visiting Old Town Quebec from Florida and looking for a restaurant and stumbled upon ŌJapon. My son actually suggested eating there. Now, having lived in Japan for 14 years, we are very picky about where we eat Sushi as it always tends to disappoint. We half heartedly agreed to go inside. Turns out we were early as we got there at 11:45am and they open at 12 noon. They were very gracious as to have us come in early, and we got the digital menus to see what we wanted. We got Miso soup and Aburi (slightly grilled) Salmon Sushi. Both were absolutely delicious and we were very pleasantly surprised! We later had a chat with the Chef lady and thanked her for a wonderfully delicious surprise! Thank you for preserving authentic Japanese taste in our taste buds!! We look forward to coming back for more next time!!

I don’t normally write reviews, but I found the service to be great! One of the chefs serving us was very welcoming and attentive. Didn’t ask for his name, but he is bilingual and will notice if you speak a different language. We ordered a Seafood Udon, Chicken Udon, and the Osaka sushi set which were all lightly savoury and filling. I’d recommend the Seafood Udon the most.

My wife and I stopped here for lunch. I had the chicken poke bowl and my wife had the seafood poke bowl. Both were amazing and very fresh. Staff was very friendly.

Our first time eating sushi and it was delicious! The chef went out of his way to help us figure out what we like. We will come back the next time we are here.
